It would seem that life in general has become an obstacle course.
Between one computer under construction, the other one going as
cripple as Tiny Tim, two children sick with the flu, going back
to work full time, and facing my 30th birthday, I have not had much
free time left. Sooooo that means that the strip has had to take
a back burner. In the mean time, I am happy to bring to you the
very first Obscure Imagery as it originally appeared in the CCSN
school newspaper, "Reflections," back in the barbaric
year of 1990. Enjoy this bit of nostalgia, and please check back
next week where I hope to have things back on track. Thank you. |

Well, beginning this next week, Obscure Imagery will be updated
twice a week on Mondays & Thursdays. That's something like double
the obscurity that it was last week, and the week before that, and
so on.I'd like to say that all of this excitement is caused by the
new schedule, but in fact I'm giddy about attending the San Diego
Comic Con this year. I'll be spending about half the time doing
caricature at the Rodent Studios booth, and the other half wandering
around with the gifted creators of Living
Room Art, 1999!,
Heaven and Earth, and
Land of Henley.
WOW, while typing this I just wet myself with anticipation. HAPPY

1, 2001 - Well,
this strip marks the end of an era. Beyond this point, you will
probably notice that the coloring will be a bit more simplified.
By cutting back on the time on each strip, I'm hoping to get to
the point of updating two or even three times a week. Please stay
tuned for more details in the future. |

about the delay on the strip this week. All I will say is that
it involved a parked car, a loaded gun, and a police officer with
a rubber glove. Let's just leave it at that, okay. Enjoy your

The cast of Obscure Imagery
wishes to point out the strip is now brought to you in Mind-Blowing
SUNDINICOLOR, although those of you that have been keeping
up with the strip have been enjoying this for about two weeks now.
You can still catch these in the Archives (In the discount bin on
aisle 5.) Today we begin a new storyline, "A Job For John E." Also
in the works on site are character bios, a link page, and a revolutionary
"Scratch & Sniff" format that will be available as soon as we figure
out how to get the blasted thing to work. Please feel free to keep
checking back for entertaining strips, new features, and more. |
